When you use trading journal, we collect the following types of information:

• Account information: email address, display name, country and mobile number you provide during signup or onboarding.
• Trading data: trades, journal entries, notes, tags and analytics you log in the application. Your private journal remains private to you.
• Community content: posts, comments, likes, follows and Google Drive image links you attach to public posts.
• Moderation data: reports you submit against comments and the list of accounts you have blocked. Reports are visible only to admins.
• Usage data: basic device and interaction data (browser, OS, page views, error logs) used to improve the product.

We use your information only to operate and improve trading journal:

• To provide the trading journal, analytics and AI-assisted features.
• To personalise your experience (e.g. country-specific currency defaults).
• To communicate important updates or security notices.
• To detect abuse, enforce our Terms and moderate the community.

We do not sell your personal data or trading history to third parties.

trading journal is built on Lovable Cloud. Your data is stored in secure cloud infrastructure with industry-standard protections including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and row-level security on the database. Platform security features are provided by our hosting provider and are not an independent certification of trading journal.

We use the following categories of cookies and local storage:

• Essential: to keep you signed in and maintain your session.
• Preference: to remember your country, currency and UI choices.
• Advertising (website only): Google AdSense may set cookies on the website to serve and measure ads (see next section).

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies will sign you out.

We monetise the website using Google AdSense (publisher ID ca-pub-6517714326018658). AdSense and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to:

• Serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
• Measure ad performance and prevent fraud.
• Use the DoubleClick DART cookie for personalised advertising.

You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info/choices.

In-app users see no AdSense ads. When you use trading journal through our mobile app (WebView with ?source=app), the AdSense script is not loaded and no advertising cookies are set.

• Google OAuth — for secure sign-in. We only receive your email and basic profile info from Google.
• Google Drive — used only when you paste your own Drive image links into public posts. We do not access your Drive account.
• Broker integrations — optional connections you initiate to import your own trades.

Your data is retained while your account is active. You can request permanent deletion from your Profile → Danger Zone. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days.
